Ape Escape Ps5 Port Review

I have to say at the start here that this game is enjoyable for how old it is (26 years old). There are many points that do seem random, unless I somehow just missed something like the seemingly random encounter with the main character’s friend. Given the story of apes trying to take over the world during this period, such a random involvement of this causes the game to be more enjoyable as it does show the surprising nature that games took in the earlier days. The main complaint I have for the ps5 ported edition of the game is that it does seem to hold the ps1 control of the player, which doesn’t feel like it should exist for a console like ps5 and does make it feel more difficult than it should.      I seem to be doing less of a job in this game review to prevent spoilers because, for one, the game is 26 years old, easily making this the oldest game I’ve reviewed so far. Because of this, there is less reason to hide any of the story. I feel that th...

I played the Valhalla dlc to God of War Ragnorak

So, I finished the dlc Valhalla to God of War Ragnarök and I have to say it was enjoyable for how short it was, though the shortness works in favor to the story it goes on to tell, basically Kratos being invited to Valhalla by a person I’ll not mention here for spoilers sake, I can only recommend it to find out who it is, though play the story of the 2018 god of war and Ragnarök first so that the story makes more sense as to what the characters are talking about. From what I was told ahead of time by a friend prior to playing, I did come to expect it to be set in a system like it has, just not as heavy of a story as it turned out to be, which surprised me. I found the ending more surprising. As I have finished to story to the ps4 remaster of God of War 3, I figured one point brought up was dealt with already to an extent where there would be no point in turning the end of the dlc as part of this. Though, I cannot say this is bad, but otherwise. It felt like it was expanding o...
