Daxter

Daxter is the first of the psp ports I began to play. It was released on March 14 th , 2006, on the psp and on ps4/5 on June 18 th , 2024, developed by the company Ready at Dawn and Implicit Conversions Inc. The game follows the side character of the main series Daxter as he goes through Haven City over the two-year imprisonment of Jak. It’s a game that comes to be far simpler than the three main games (the two side games being excluded for this review). There are many points of the game that I have gone through quickly and know everyone who plays will feel the same upon playing. There are a two main points that have maintained some semblance of a challenge, which I like as it at least gives something to place a focus on instead of just mindlessly playing. One of these is the minigames; this isn’t a required point of the game to play, rather a point to have the game keep some entertainment with reference of media of the time such as with a Matrix and Lord of the Rings reference...

Intro Post

Hey Everyone, So, I cannot say if I'll have a schedule for when I'll post reviews. Though this may not be the best for the people who want to stay up-to-date with games, this blog is more to give my thoughts on certain games I'll play. One of the rules that I'll do what I can to stick to is not to post a review on a game I've played on my youtube channel (the link to this channel being at the main hub). There will be an exception or two depending on the type of game. One clear exception I know will be for Vintage Story, once I get around to it that is. This is only because the company whose working on it admits they will be updating the game for years in the future, meaning there will be more content to cover that likely will not see it's way onto the channel.
